Overall, I have some designer slides from Gucci and Balenciaga for example that are well over $200 and I feel like they just don’t compare to the Yeezy Slides. If you could get the Yeezy Slide on their App, the price is super cool. They release probably once every quarter in a couple of different colorways. But even though it’s such a simple product and made of one piece of material, it was still such a complex process to make this simple shoe. To fill you guys in on the Yeezy Slide if you don’t own a pair for yourself or you don’t know anything about it,  essentially, this shoe is one piece of injection-molded EVA foam.

In fact, for a long time, the Yeezy 350 & 350v2 was the most popular and I think, even to this day, they’re the most pairs of those shoes out. But the rubber was really stiff on the old versions of the Yeezy Slides and so you have to break them in a little bit because they weren’t really comfortable the first week that you wear them. However, the new restocked releases have more of a matte finish and they actually feel a bit more like it has a grainier texture to them in comparison to the OG releases.

One of the things I never expected to learn is that the Yeezy Slides is the most popular pair of Yeezys. Recently, the Yeezy Slides have become one of the most sold items on platforms like StockX, Goat, and even eBay. Yeezy Slides seem to run on the narrower end of the spectrum. The good thing is these slides will be restocking every two to three months.
